SPRING CLEANING WORKDAY

April 5. Saturday, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. Come for coffee and doughnuts and help get the church ready for Easter. We will clean and make repairs inside and out. Contact Troy Rapp for more information.

ADULT FORUM

April 6. Sunday, following worship Bébé Tran, Foster Parent Specialist at Commonwealth Catholic Charities, will share her personal story about foster care and provide information about CCC’s Foster Care program. Bébé has spoken at WPC in the past. Many of us were intrigued when she alluded to her experience in the foster care system. We are delighted that she is willing to share her story with us.

MARDIBRAS

April 17. MardiBras is a local non-profit that supplies bras, underwear, pads, and tampons to women in need - incarcerated, unhoused, those recovery homes, low-income, and more. Mardibras partners with organizations that are direct service providers for women in need, including Rams Pantry and Rams in Recovery.

Menstrual Pads (Heavy, light days, with wings, etc.)

ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL- BOOK STUDY

Pastor Anna invites all who are interested to join her in a study of “A Testament of Hope: The Essential Writings and Speeches of Martin Luther King, Jr.”

The focus will be primarily on King’s philosophy of non-violence and how it applies to us as we navigate a rapidly changing, highly divided world in which the teachings of Jesus are often rejected. We will meet beginning Sunday, February 2. Participants are encouraged to read in advance for each session beginning with pages 5-9. The book can be purchased here.

MID-WEEK BIBLE STUDY

Wednesdays, 4:40 pm, via Zoom. The Lenten bible study has been extended. On Thursday afternoons, we discuss scripture together for 30 minutes. If you'd like to participate, contact the office at info@wpcrichmond.org for the meeting link.
